  Virtual Server Hosting

James Tower offers our customers the option of using a virtual server through VMWare.  A virtual server provides you with all of the functionality and flexibility of a dedicated server (including allocating hardware resources like RAM and hard drive space and running different operating systems), but it runs on a large server with other virtual servers.  Performance is strictly monitored and you have the option of using guaranteed hardware resources or sharing those resources in a “pool” with the other virtual servers.  Virtual servers provide you with a lower cost alternative to dedicated hosting.  Our architecture utilizes an enterprise level EMC SAN and runs on quad processor HP hosts. Redundancy is the core of this design, giving it higher availability than other virtualization offerings.
