E-Expectations of the Class of 2007: What Do High School Seniors Want from Your Web site?

Presented by: Stephanie Geyer, Noel-Levitz, and Darren Wacker, James Tower

This session will present findings from the ongoing national research project, E-Expectations. This program studies the expectations that college-bound students have of college and university web sites and e-communications programs. This session will compare findings from the study completed in 2006 with those from the follow-up study conducted in the winter of 2007. We’ll explore the differences between the preferences of students who had just completed their junior year and those who were in the middle of their senior year. Participants will take away recommendations for content, navigation, and online services to improve their web sites and ideas for their e-communications programs.
