Quality Assurance Manager

James Tower is seeking a full time Quality Assurance Manager.  The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s Quality Assurance efforts as well as managing and mentoring a team of QA professionals.  The position will evaluate, recommend, and implement quality assurance strategies and testing processes to ensure that the organization's solutions meet or exceed requirements.  It will establish quality assurance and testing guidelines, standards and measurements.  The position is also responsible for functional testing applications, troubleshooting applications, gathering test requirements, and developing test documentation.

This position requires an understanding of web development concepts, server administration and networking.  Additional qualifications include knowledge of the software development life cycle, experience on both PCs and Macs, writing SQL queries and solid written and verbal communication skills.  Candidates must be very detail oriented, have the ability to work within a team, have exceptional problem solving skills as well as an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strict deadlines.  Candidates are expected to act as a key liaison between business groups, customers and Quality Assurance. CS, CIS, MIS or related degree is required.  Some over-night shifts required.
